Star Wars: Rebirth

Emeriss Armageddon

Zendral ran to the computers to learn more about the security measures on the starship parts, and Zendral found a big one indeed. The parts were surrounded in a force field, where the deactivation switch was inside of the shield. The party decided to go and kill off the guards and then worry about the shield.

When the party killed the guards spectacularly, Oot was getting ready to shoot at the shield; while Visase and Simon found a spare labor droid which they activated. The droid happened to contain the sequences to shutting down the shield fortunately. When the shield was shut down, Senlet and Simon took out the tracking device from the thrusters before ordering the labor droid to load the thrusters and itself onto the transport. After Simon ordered for the other battle droids to load onto the transport, Kader volunteered to fly the transport away.

Then Oot, Vun, and the UDS said their farewells before they ran as far away from the base as they could.

When the rest of the party jumped onto the Nest, Zendral detonated the parts; blowing up the outpost.

When the party returned to Coruscant, they caught Hartel and Issilum back up to speed; and more interestingly, Gunja was nowhere to be found.

But when Kader prepared to retrieve the rest of the parts, the sirens were heard; and Gunja slipped his bus through the opening before closing the hangar doors and waiting for the police to speed past.

As it turns out, Gunja was taking Mon Calamari and Quarren tourists around Coruscant, and let them use the restrooms in E5’s base while Gunja changed his bus’ serial number.

Meanwhile, Kader brought the transport to Harbu’s Banished encampment. Verin and Harbu were sparring with their fists, while Visase gifted Harbu with 4 battle droids as thanks for looking after the clawcraft parts, Verin, and Henea.

When Verin came aboard, he proclaimed that he wanted the party to obey their end of the deal, to which Polis confronted him. Verin said that he agreed to go into hiding on the condition that he contribute to the group’s efforts rather than be forced into hiding. Polis then told Verin to show that he is capable of contributing in the most intimidating manner possible.

At first, it didn’t look like Verin would fight, but then he punched Polis in the face. At that, Orwell engaged. In the fight that ensued, Verin dislocated one of Orwell’s kneecaps and knocked him to the ground with a side kick that Verin overexerted. When Verin fell, Orwell got up and broke some of Verin’s ribs.

When Korot broke up the fight, he helped Verin back onto his seat and told Verin that his father had hoped that Verin never would have to see fighting or war. Verin was a little too winded to respond, but Henea tended to his injuries. Polis then told Verin that he has what it takes to contribute, but now Verin cannot slow the party down.

Meanwhile, Taral got in communication with Jedi Master Evarr Dreskel…

Moorr Dots Moorr Dots! Oh Hutt, Noss Again!

After the defense turret was taken down, Polis opened the next door; triggering an alarm, alerting those in the meeting room to come out.

The first to arrive was the ODVZ representative, a Duros named Moorr; who immediately recognized Kader and Oot fearfully. Moorr pulled out a Thermal Detonator to finish the job, but Orwell’s intervention meant that the job ended not getting finished. 2 UDS Fighters met their end from the explosion, followed by Moorr and his bodyguards.

What made matters difficult was the arrival of a Hutt who was preventing the party from getting close to the gunners behind him. Even as Orwell and Polis fought, they both fell. Orwell recovered, and rushed to the vents alongside Visase to flank the meeting room.

The Hutt took many hits without looking in pain, but still; thanks to concentrated fire and previous wounds, the Hutt fell. To replace the Hutt, Amani rolled out; but they proved to be easier prey than the Hutt was.

Taral rushed off to free the Force Sensitive prisoner, while Oot was left to face off against the enemy. Oot called for the remaining commandos to come to his side, but between the autofire assault by the elite Chiss guard, and the grenade lobbed by Emeriss Representative Noss, the Commandos died, and Oot was gravely injured.

Visase, Orwell, and Senlet reunited; and then they all dropped down into the room below before positioning themselves to flank the hapless guards. Meanwhile, Taral freed the prisoner; a Duros UDS Fighter named Vun who wasted no time in helping with the battle.

With concentrated firepower, the last of the Amani were taken out, and just when Emeriss thought the battle decided, Visase, Senlet, and Orwell struck; devastating the health of the elite guards.

When it was just Noss left, Noss began to talk to Zendral like they had known each other; even making a crack about how Zendral could never score. Zendral’s Jabbas remained unrustled, even as Orwell beheaded Noss.

Vun told his story while he revealed that his Force talents lied in healing. Vun healed a good deal of everybody’s wounds before Vun felt too winded to use the Force.

Orwell on the other hand found Noss’ datapad, which he took and read it. The datapad message read:

“Plathuui was a success. We acquired many new slaves. Many new Force Sensitives. Our owner wishes to congratulate you all on your progress, but there is much more to be done!

Dalbar has notified Mandalore of the world of Feibraxa. The Feibrax, like the Plathuu aren’t nice looking like the Twi’lek or the Zeltron; but the Feibrax are physically strong, show much force sensitivity; and are primitive.

Dalbar will continue to do what he can to keep the Jedi and the Triumvirate from acting while Mandalore continues his conquest; and we profit from it.

Our correspondent on Coruscant; Shyr Praz has been notified of Dalbar’s plans and is preparing for the harvest.

All involved will get good compensation for their works.

The time draws closer. I hope your meeting was fruitful.

Outgunning the Turret

When Simon activated the security droids under his command, Polis opened the door leading deeper within the compound and was immediately beset by blasterfire coming from a gun turret at the end of the corridor. Before Polis could react though, two large slug creatures known as Amani immediately coiled up into a ball and rolled blindingly fast at Polis such that Polis couldn’t react; then when Polis got himself together, the Amani were flanking Polis.

The following fight was messy, with the turret showing off its Ion ammunition against the rewired battle droids. As the fighting was going on, Senlet sends a message; stating that he managed to kill the security technician, and has given information about the turret room.

Basically, there are two Barracks on either side of the turret that have enough guards to overwhelm the party; but the barracks are connected via vents that the party could get into to make a mess of the barracks.

The UDS Commandos volunteered to take care of the barracks if they had cover. All the party had to do was wait for their opportunity.

An opportunity came up when the security droids rushed the hall, and the head engineer thought that overdriving the next round of ion ammo into a jet would be best. The ion jet charred the Chiss guards in front of the turret, but did the same to the security droids; with Simon being the only survivor. This blast caused the turret to become too hot to be functional.

Immediately, the party took action; bringing the UDS commandos into the vents while picking off the guards that came out of the barracks. As the tide turned, Senlet continued giving more information about the turret; mainly in that the turret was in a fixed position. Get to the side of the turret, and the turret is a sitting duck.

Visase, Orwell, Taral, and Oot made a gamble by rushing through the corridor to get to the side of the turret; but the gamble payed off.

As the fighting wrapped up, Senlet told the party that he was going to hide in a vent to keep away from the Chiss should they get curious.

An Explosive Arrival

When the party reached Duro, they received a transmission from a Duros who claims to be part of the UDS; or U Durosu Soka. The UDS is a group of guerilla fighters who are fighting against others who would harm Duro’s environment, and it just so happened that they were targeting Emeriss Arms’ outpost for attack; due to their involvement with helping out a notorious starship corporation on Duro known as Oo Durosoo Virrnu Zalonu, or ODVZ. In particular, the name of the Duros who contacted the party was a small time leader of the UDS named Oot.

Oot claimed that they caught wind of one of Senlet’s transmissions, figuring that since the party got a man inside; that the party was an enemy of Emeriss. Oot suggested to the party that they should fly in in their starship, and lay waste with their weapons while the UDS comes out of the words. The party accepted to go with Oot’s plan, but before Oot ended the transmission; he looked at Kader and winced.

Meanwhile, Senlet climbed through the ventilation ducts where he saw a lone Duros in prison; the room where the starship parts were stored, a meeting between many races; and a room full of computers. Before Senlet reported where the Thrusters were, and then look to hiding away.

The following fight was deadly, with Simon destroying both of the transport ships in an explosive way that further disadvantaged the guards, before the UDS came out of the woods to finish the guards closest to the forest.

When the fight ended, Oot approached Kader calling him “Rok’Ulor”. Kader insisted that Rok’Ulor is no longer, and that Rok’Ulor was done with being involved in this war. Oot let Kader’s insistence slide, and continued to try to figure out how to get the door open.

Orwell and Polis tried with brute strength, but finally; Taral burned through a bit of the door with his lightsaber, while Simon lobbed a missile at the door opening; splitting the door wide open.

The guards on the other side tried to get the astromech droids to activate the other battle droids, but they got finished off; and shortly after, the soldiers got finished off as well.

Simon rushed off to try to reactivate the battle droids to fight alongside the back, while the party discussed their next course of action.

To Rescue Senlet

Senlet sent a message to the party, telling the party that he planned on infiltrating what little of Emeriss’ base on Duro that he can to find the Thrusters of the Clawcraft. Once the Thrusters are secure, Senlet will detonate the replica parts.

The problem lied in the fact that the party did not know exactly where on Duro Emeriss’ base was. So the party had to infiltrate Sics’enuluo’hassiss’ office to obtain the coordinates. Figuring that everybody coming at once would compromise the stealth mission, Hartel and Issilum both volunteered to obtain the information from Enul’s office.

Meanwhile, the party got to fly the Verpine Nest ship for the first time. On the ship, Orwell experienced a lot of space sickness; Kader made himself at home by drinking the ship’s extensive stores of cheap Coruscant beer in between helping Zendral drive the ship. Polis tried asking Kader about himself, but Kader kept himself shut. The rest of the party sat back and waited to get to Duro and hear word from Issilum and Hartel.

The party did encounter an Emeriss freighter making its way towards Coruscant’s star however, but they chose to not waste time; and make haste towards Duro.

Meanwhile, Hartel arrived in a suit to infiltrate Enul’s office; while Issilum rushed into the vents. Hartel tried to lure Enul out of his office by knocking on the door while invisible, but Enul continued to sit in his desk. At which point, Hartel rushed back into the elevator while it was still open so that his Cloak can wear off.

While that happened, Issilum found a different unused office. Once Hartel infiltrated the security room and powered the security cameras down, Issilum made his move; and downloaded a program that allowed for the computer to access other’s computers, especially Enul’s computer. With careful movements, Issilum managed to slice into Enul’s computer; and obtain the coordinates for the Emeriss base on Duro, but also; Issilum managed to get a hold of a few important looking messages on Enul’s computer.

Once Issilum obtained the documents, Issilum walked out of the office; and Hartel turned the cameras back on.

Back in the base, Issilum transmitted the messages to Zendral so that Zendral can translate the Cheunh into Basic. While the coordinates were laid out easily, the messages were extensive.

What the messages talked of was multi-fold:

1. Emeriss knows of the party and their deeds, and had been spying on them for a little bit.
2. Emeriss and the Galactic Axis are working together, and are both controlled by the same “owner”.
3. The Galactic Axis requested that Emeriss help to look for the family of Arken Taro.

As the party processed the messages, the Nest went out of hyperspace; and now overlooks Duro.

Senlet In Spaaaaaaaaaaaace!

The party woke up early in the morning to E5 and Rixx providing the finishing touches to the starship parts. The party arrived to hear a news report about how a large influx of kidnapped people in the last 20 years were force sensitive. Meanwhile, the party got themselves ready for the big day; only for there to be a lot of drama in between.

The party told Verin that he had to go down with Harbu until the situation is less dangerous. Verin proclaimed that he was now part of the team, and that he had to see the situation through; but a deal was still struck. After hiding with Harbu for the operation, Verin is to come back and help the party through whatever situations may arise. The party, by and large; accepted.

In the meanwhile; Taral, Visase, and Hartel gathered around the starship parts to mimic the darkside aura surrounding the other parts. All 3 experienced the Dark Side, and memories of their succumbing to the Dark Side in their own way. Once the ritual was done, the effects were a resounding success, such that even the most disbelieving members of the team felt the presence being “off”.

Once that happened, E5 began molding 74 blocks of detonite into the crevices of the machine. While doing so, Verin tried to give Henea a chance to leave and go home; to which Henea started screaming at Verin about how Verin already put her in danger. Once done, Henea stormed off to her room; while Verin sat defeated in the hangar.

Issilum tried to give Verin good advice, but Verin wasn’t listening to it too much; much to Issilum’s frustration. Meanwhile, Zendral tried to talk to Henea; but Zendral instead got Henea’s life story.

While all that unfolded, Kader and Senlet each had a cigarette; not wanting anything to do with teen drama.

Eventually, Henea slapped Verin across the face and told Verin not to put her in danger again. From there, Issilum took them; as well as Rixx, Korot, and the real starship parts to Harbu’s Banished compound.

From there, the party plotted their next course of action by getting in touch with Sics’enuluo’hassiss. Senlet and Enul worked out a meeting place- being at Bolbuk Starport’s Platform 51 in CoCo Town. Senlet rushed inside the transport with the starship parts loaded in, and then Senlet flew off to his destination.

Senlet met up with a well groomed Chiss along with 4 other guards wearing Emeriss uniform. Senlet managed to convince the Chiss to increase the pay to 550,000 Credits. After that, the Chiss said that he would check to see if the parts are still in working order before he ships the money over. Before a real fight could break out though, the platform suddenly became covered in food trucks serving Dentari food; on Sics’enuluo’hassiss’ Credit Chip Code.

While the well groomed Chiss argued that he didn’t purchase anything of the sort, Senlet ran inside of the Chiss’ ship up in an alcove; where the Chiss’ labor droids loaded the replica pieces, and then set off for Duro; where the well groomed Chiss said that the last piece, the Thrusters were.

When everything got loaded up however, the well groomed Chiss called Sics’enuluo’hassis that the parts were loaded and are ready to be taken to Duro. Enul said to “Csalo” that he did a good job. Senlet’s last message was, “Change of plan, I am on board the ship; going straight to Duro.”

The party now stands in E5’s hideout, plotting their next course of action.

Sicsing a Plan Together

Staring over the devastated body of Rixx, the party plotted what to do with his brain. Many were in favor of putting Rixx down, but Visase suggested putting his brain into a less dangerous droid body. After some debates, the party agreed to putting Rixx’s brain into the droid body; and then handing the droid over to Harbu the Mandalorian. Rixx seems to have submitted to his fate, being happy enough that he was allowed to survive.

On the way, Hartel called a contact for a droid body; while the party gathered the spoils to load into Gunja’s bus. Gunja was watching another dirty movie, before Polis smashed his holo projector. The party managed to get both the wings and the two surviving battle droids on the bus somehow, before Gunja took off; driving his bus upside down as he was before. Hartel called for Gunja to return to the Niad Spaceways Starport.

When Gunja arrived, he complained at the lack of parking for his bus; and told Hartel that he was going to need to jump down. Hartel did jump down, and found his contact with the droid body. After competing the transaction, Gunja said on the comlink that stopping the bus there was against the law; and Hartel was going to have to jump. With Gunja flying quickly about 4 meters up, it would take the Force for Hartel to make it. Fortunately, Hartel can use the Force; and managed to jump just as the bus was getting into view. Of course, it was through the window Issilum was sitting by; but Issilum managed to dodge out of the way, while Taral quickly opened the window with the force before Hartel landed inside with the astromech droid body.

Then Gunja happily proclaimed that he didn’t have to park a block away after all, before he steered the bus back to E5’s place.

When the party arrived, they dispersed and did some things around the base. Polis corrected Verin’s wrestling form, while Kader walked to the sidelines and started smoking a cigarette; not wanting anything to do with anyone.

E5 opened up a message to the party, proclaiming that Sics’enuluo’hassiss knows that they have the Nsiss Clawcraft parts; but seems open for negotiations.

Polis immediately suggested just giving them the parts laced with explosives, and the party as a whole liked that idea. Senlet was iffy, thinking that the real parts can help to provide insights into what the space platform is capable of; but did enjoy the prospect of blowing up Emeriss as well.

The party then decided on making replica parts and delivering those to Emeriss with explosives laced on it. While the party is still thinking of the kinds of explosives to be used, the party came up with displacing the tracking devices embedded within the ship parts; but also who was going to deliver the package.

The party settled on Senlet being the negotiator, going in as one of the Tusken Raiders who wanted to get back at those who killed his friends. As an escape plan, Gunja would go in and be himself. Polis wasn’t a fan, but Zendral reminded Polis of how good Gunja was at sowing chaos.

Zendral fit Rixx into the droid body, and got Rixx into helping E5 make the ship parts; while the party retired to their beds.

Rixx in Peace

After the initial battle with the cyborgs at the entrance, the party slowly converged into the surgery room where they discussed their next plan of attack.

Issilum had uploaded the security camera footage, revealing the locations of the other cyborgs in the compound. The party planned out their moves on the other cyborgs, when Polis overheard a message via comlink from one of the deceased cyborgs. Polis tried telling the other cyborgs that they dealt with the threats. Unfortunately, Polis’ voice wasn’t convincing enough to keep the cyborgs from investigating.

The security cameras began to show movement in the north side of the compound towards the party’s location. The party then chose to act.

Polis and Hartel ran to the side to keep the droids from flanking them, while Visase set up a Thermal Detonator by the door.

The gunslingers went behind the melee line, while Zendral jumped up into the ventilation shaft.

When the door opened, the Thermal Detonator went off; reducing the medical room to rubble. Out of that room came two heavily damaged battle droids who tried to carry out their combat functions, though they were overcome by the onslaught the melee and ranged line brought to them.

Meanwhile, Hartel and Polis both discovered that the droids were not activated. When they learned that, Polis set up a defensive position while Hartel called for Zendral to start reprogramming the droids.

Polis decided that he had enough of sitting in the same room, and so he tried jumping into the vents too; though the compact space proved to be difficult for Polis to get through, but get through Polis did.

By the time the battle was clearing up, and the party made their way into the old medical room; Polis jumped from from the vents, and landed atop the two remaining battle droids who were shortly finished off.

Standing before the party was the elevator to the upper floor, to which Hartel volunteered to scout. Hartel turned invisible and brought a reprogrammed battle droid with him to the upper floor.

At the top, Hartel found a spacious room; with an enormous humanoid shaped droid along with two other droids made from Chiss starship wings. The droid was active, covered in weapons; and didn’t seem happy.

Hartel tried to bluff being the battle droid to report that the disturbance was eliminated. Unfortunately for Hartel, the big droid didn’t believe in what was going on.

So Hartel ran back into the elevator while cloaked, and hit the down arrow at least 10 times to make the descent faster.

The party heard the sound of explosions above them as Hartel rushed back to the party out of breath. When the news was delivered, the building shook; and the northern side of the room exploded, showering the party with debris.

In the center of the story was a newly made room; covered in debris from the upper level and haphazardly destroyed everywhere. When the smoke cleared, the huge droid was seen standing atop the rubble; with his two Chiss wing droids floating near him as well. When the droid shouted, “Rixx is in the house!” The battle began.

Rixx had modified the wing droids with a targeting laser. Once targeted, Rixx will ready his computer systems to launch missiles. Of course, that was automated; and so Rixx was able to attack the rest of the party as easily as the party was trying to attack him.

The party had a hard time getting passed his deflector shield, but some lucky shots by the party and their newly aquired droids managed to bring the shield down enough that Taral; in a fit of anger unleashed a bolt of Force Lightning at Rixx.

When Rixx was looking bad, he activated his emergency power reserves; and recharged his shields and hull condition.

By which time, Polis was on Rixx; trying to grab him and throw him down. Polis’ distractions did keep Rixx from firing his missiles, though Polis did sustain heavy damage from Rixx’s vibroclaws. The turning point for Polis was when he removed a large plate of debris from under Rixx, causing Rixx to fall over.

Hartel managed to get behind Rixx and Ionized him- though his shields proved to be too strong for it, but it did make the shields fluctuate enough that Issilum got a lucky shot through. Orwell’s Arg’garok, Kader’s luck, and Simon’s missile barrage also managed to get through Rixx’s defense over time; before Zendral and his droids got some more lucky shots destroying Rixx. With Rixx’s destruction came the unpowering of Rixx’s wing droids.

When the party searched through Rixx, they found a canister containing a human brain in fluids. The brain was connected to a failing life support system that connected to the droid itself. The brain begged for mercy while the party discussed what to do next…

Slicing into the Greater Haluon's Hideout

Gunja drove the bus upside down to the base, and even parked the bus upside down once they arrived.

Visase, Hartel, and Taral all sensed a presence watching the Greater Haluon’s hideout. The party moved towards it, and eventually noticed the silhouette of a humanoid female looking towards the hideout, and then at the party. When the silhouette noticed; she ran deeper into the building. Taral and Senlet pursued the female deeper into the building.

On the way, Taral sensed that she jumped out of that building. When Taral reached the edge, ready to jump; Taral sensed that she was rapidly ascending to the upper levels. At this time, Taral and Senlet stopped chasing her and moved back to the group. Taral reckoned it was Emeriss.

When Taral and Senlet returned, Polis was discussing strategy with the party. The science facility’s designs were familiar to Polis, and Polis explained that the building had 2 entryways inside; one in the front, the other in the back.

Also on the sides were 2 ventilation shafts that were big enough for most of the party aside from Polis and Simon to crawl through. The plan was for Polis, Visase, Simon, Hartel, and Orwell to charge through the front door; while Kader, Senlet, Issilum, Taral, and Zendral crawled through the vents.

Visase and Polis opened the front doors and then they each lobbed a Concussion Grenade before the battle began in earnest.

While the attack group dropped the cyborgs, the infiltration group crawled through the vents. Issilum slipped through one vent and landed in a tiny room with an aged computer inside. Issilum logged the monitor and uploaded a map of the first floor.

Taral in the meantime snuck into another room, full of machine parts and body parts. The body parks look to be in various stages of decay; and mostly look to be of non vital limbs.

Kader, Zendral, and Senlet remained in the shafts as the attack party cleared the room of cyborgs.

Then Issilum found the research logs of the research facility. Most of the logs weren’t too interesting, but Issilum found a log belonging to the time just before the end of the Clone Wars. The log talked about samples from Kamino that would make clones that were better than the clones of Jango Fett, and that when made would be put on hold until Palpatine wanted them reactivated.

Now, the party is looking to complete their attack plan; while Issilum tries desperately to get out of the cramped room the computer is in.

Reego's Hoard

The party set off from the Jedi Temple to where Reego’s place was. Gunja landed the party on another person’s yard- within their swimming pool more specifically. Orwell pointed to tubers growing in the yard, and Kader took a bite out of one; as the owner of the lot began to curse Gunja out.

The party made their way to Reego’s house. The outside is decorated in sound systems that made the sounds of wild animals on other planets. Once the door buzzer was rung though, the sound of wookiees was heard howling on the speakers.

Reego opened the door up and welcomed the party inside.

The house was full of piles and piles of expensive stuff. Some of the party was tempted to steal some of it, but ultimately, Reego lead the party to his personal hangar full of other expensive vehicles; including the cockpit of the Nsiss Clawcraft.

Reego told the party about the nightmares he got after getting the cockpit into the house. Just hearing screaming and crying from the hangar in his dreams. Reego also got the repaired cockpit for free from a salvager.

Meanwhile, Zendral investigated the cockpit to find a hole similar to what was found on the laser cannon and the engine which gave Zendral the same level of discomfort.

Then Reego started getting death threats. He got the ultimatum that if he didn’t bring the cockpit to the bottom level of the Works in Sector H by Day 7, Week 1, Month 1, Year 650 ABY; he will perish.

So the party volunteered to take the cockpit from Reego. The party contacted Gunja to come and pick up the cockpit. A short time later, a police car exploded into the room leaving a gaping hole in the house. Gunja then shouted that his bus wasn’t big enough to haul the cockpit and that he needed something larger to accommodate it.

Reego didn’t say anything at all during this incident. Even when Gunja stole the shuttle belonging to the senator of Mon Calamari just to steal the cockpit away.

Issilum, while railing to Gunja about stealing from his people; found a picture-pad on one of the front seats, which made Issilum very quiet whenever he looked at it.

Even when Gunja made it back to E5’s hangar, Issilum remained quiet and looking at the picture.

Once everyone left the shuttle, Gunja flew off with it to retrieve the bus he left behind. Meanwhile, Arken Taro contacted the party to ask them of their progress.

Visase told Arken about the holes in the Nsiss Clawcraft parts, and their effects on force users when sensed.

Arken responded with his own news, in that the space platform looks to be passing through the Senate; and the platform got a sponsor from Mon Calamari, from a company known as Infinite Depths Inc. Arken suspects that the platform funding is most likely done for Infinite Depth’s PR, as the Mon Calamari tend to have a good track record towards following the more moral route than not.

After Arken checked on his son Verin, Arken left to continue his talks with the Mon Calamari Senator and the CEO of Infinite Depths Inc. Natmar Smers about the platform.

Once Arken left, Polis and Orwell exchanged words about Verin needing to train harder; while Visase looked up information on the gang, the Greater Haluon.

The Greater Haluon apparently are few in number, but the few that are there are powerful and have enhanced themselves cybernetically into cyborgs, or something more machine than anything else.

The party prepared themselves, jumped into Gunja’s bus after Gunja returned; and then set off to where the Greater Haluon are holed up.
